Family Promise MetroWest | The Dover Church
Family Promise MetroWest
The Dover Church is actively involved, as a founding member, in Family Promise Metrowest, a cooperative, interfaith partnership offering hope to homeless families with children through safe transitional shelter, meals, and supportive case management as they seek permanent housing. This nonprofit program was founded in 2008.
We provide shelter and meals to families in the network during the year though three 1-week long hosting opportunties. Families arrive at the church around 6:30 p.m. each weekday evening where they are welcomed by our volunteers, provided with a hot nutritious meal, a safe warm bedroom, support and fellowship.
We have many opportunities for you to help out during our hosting weeks. If you would like to get involved, please click here to email the church office to find out how you can help.

The Dover Church is not just for grown-ups. From nursery school through high school, we have opportunities for young people to learn and grow, do good and share God’s love.
We know how daunting it can be to come to a new church for the first time. All of us had a first time and we’re glad we dared. We hope you’ll be glad too. Here’s some of what you might like to know before walking up the front stairs.
