Normally we mark our transition into lent with a Mardi Gras/Shrove Pancake breakfast, followed by the imposition of ashes. Like everything else, this year that tradition will have to look a little different. After being blown away by the generosity shown by our community during our Thanksgiving and Christmas drives, we wanted to once again use this covid-mandated shift as an opportunity to give to our neighbors in need!

We are opening the Church from 9-9:40 AM on Sunday February 21st for folks to come by, masked, and bring food donations to lay by the communion table. As you exit the sanctuary, you will also have the opportunity to receive ashes and a blessing. All donations will then be brought to A Place to Turn and distributed to families in need.

Donations can be breakfast themed to keep in the pancake spirit (like pancake, muffin, bread mixes, nut butters, jams, canned fruits, coffee, hot chocolate, and teas, cereals and oats) or they can be any assortment of non perishable items (see https://www.aplacetoturn-natick.org/donation-request-list/ for their longer list of requested items!)
