Thursday mornings with Ingrid

We are so very lucky to have the Reverend Ingrid Barrett as a member of our church. Ordained in the United Church of Christ, Ingrid has been leading an adult faith and fellowship group on Thursday mornings at 9 AM in the church library for years. Past studies have included books of the Bible such as Genesis, John, and Acts, and topical issues such as "Discerning Priorities," "a Personal Encounter with the Beatitudes" and "Spiritual Boredom or Spiritual Adventure." Each study is 6-8 weeks in length with three sessions; fall, winter and spring. Each is centered around the scriptures with little preparation needed.

Through study and discussion of the scriptures we seek to better know their relevance in our daily lives so that we might enrich our faith and grow spiritually. As we read, speak and listen a fellowship brings us together in our desire to do God’s work and be God’s people.
