Max Olmstead

Senior Pastor

Max just joined the staff of The Dover Church in August 2009. He will have a lot more to say about himself here in the near future. If you are interested in reading one of his sermons, check out his blog: maxolm.blogspot.com.

Amanda

Amanda Howland

Associate Pastor and Youth Group Director

Amanda has been serving The Dover Church since July 2005 and particularly enjoys her work with the youth groups. She grew up in nearby Belmont, Massachusetts where church was as regular a part of her week as school. After graduating from the University of Richmond with majors in Leadership Studies and Women’s Studies, Amanda spent a year in Hungary – teaching English in a village and volunteering at a refugee camp. Time away from familiar sights and sounds nudged Amanda to explore things spiritual. After returning home to months of productive indecision as to next steps, Amanda felt called to Andover Newton Theological School, from where she earned a Master of Divinity. In spare moments, she loves to spend time with family and friends, walk in the woods, travel, eat, and read.
